ORIGINS ARNEIS (2023)
ORIGINS ARNEIS (2023)
GROWING
The Arneis is sourced from Jim Zerella’s Peters Creek block, a 25-year-old vine, north-east facing slope, at 280m elevation, and farmed by Dave Gartelman.
The soil is red clay interspersed with degraded sandstone.
Note from James: “The grapes are carbonic macerated for 2 weeks then pressed to tank for 10 months.
The wine features prominent notes of marmalade orange, candied fruits, and pears, creating a rich, textural palate with sweet fruit flavors and subtle, mouthwatering tannins.”
