Age of vines: 40 years old

WINEMAKING
Field blend grapes are hand harvested and partially destemmed
One-third of the grapes ferment on the skin for 3 weeks, while the rest are directly pressed
Wine is then re-blended and fermentation takes place in used 500L barrels
Aged in barrel for about 9 months, with no bâtonnage
Racked once before bottling
No fining, no filtration
No sulfur addition
Bottled in May 2023
WHAT'S GOOD?
A textural, tactile wine that straddles the line between amber and white
Chewy yet remarkably fresh, showing spice and orange citrus characters alongside green apple and melon
Best served chilled (12-15℃)
