• Grapes from Magpie Springs farm in the Hope Valley 

• Vineyard at the top of a hill near the ocean with strong breezes sometimes (Mediterranean climate) 

• Sandy soil 

• 25 year-old vines, unmanicured and wild farmed

WINEMAKING

• Sémillon was destemmed and sealed for one month in a stainless steel 

• Aged in a 2000L barrel

WHAT'S GOOD?

• Slightly cloudy golden hue with a rustic, textured beauty

• A simple peasant wine, crafted not from poverty, but from honest hard work

• Best enjoyed on a handmade timber table, with ceramic cups made in the same spirit

• Purity and honesty don't always come from refinement!
